The Leica Trinovid HD 10x32 is the compact end of the Trinovid HD line: 10x magnification over a 32 mm objective, 90% light transmission, and 342 ft of field at 1,000 yards. The view is bright and neutral in color, and the wide field makes it easy to pick up a moving bird and stay with it.

At roughly 640 g it carries all day without pulling on your neck, and the rubber-armored magnesium housing is watertight to 4 m. The 3.2 mm exit pupil is the tradeoff for that size: a 42 mm Trinovid will give you more at deep dusk, so if most of your glassing happens at first and last light, talk to our team before you decide between the two.

Bright for its size

A 32 mm objective gives up some light to a 42 mm, and Leica claws a good part of it back with 90% light transmission and High Durability Coating on the glass. The 3.2 mm exit pupil and 17.9 twilight factor are what you have to work with after sunset, which is honest performance for a compact and enough for most of the legal light in a day.

Close focus at one meter

Close focus runs to about 1 m, so a butterfly on a thistle at arm's length is still in range. Paired with a 61.8 degree subjective angle of view, it makes the Trinovid HD 10x32 as useful standing in a garden as it is scanning a ridgeline.

Sealed and eyeglass friendly

The housing is magnesium under full rubber armor and stays watertight to 4 m. Eye relief is 16 mm and the eyecups are removable with four click stops, so eyeglass wearers get the full field without hunting for the right position. Focusing is internal, through a central wheel, with plus or minus 4 diopters of compensation.
