The Fine Art of Digital Printmaking With Eric Joseph | June 5-6, 2026

This workshop, led by Eric Joseph, will be incredibly rewarding for anyone looking to master fine art inkjet printing. In an age where most photographers experience their work on digital screens, this workshop offers the opportunity to take the next step: creating tangible, fine art prints. More than just a how-to class, it emphasizes the digital print as a unique art form, where the choice of inkjet paper can transform an ordinary photograph into an extraordinary piece of artwork. 

The course will cover the technical jargon and vocabulary of inkjet papers and introduce you to the full range of available inkjet media, from standard Resin Coated Photo grade papers up to handmade Japanese Washi papers. This course emphasizes the creative benefits of understanding and controlling your digital print results through hands-on printmaking sessions. Eric will ensure the information is taught in an easily digestible and accessible format.

***In addition to inkjet printing, Eric Joseph will bring a Negative Supply system to demonstrate scanning, conversion and printing from scans for those working in analog processes who want to learn camera scanning techniques.

• downloading and applying ICC profiles
• preparing files for printing

Students will learn using the Canon Pro-1100 and an Epson P900. Paper and ink fees are included.
