Brand Leica System Leica M

The Leica Summilux-M 50mm f/1.4 ASPH. in silver anodized finish is the reference-standard fast fifty for the M system — a natural 50mm perspective with a bright f/1.4 aperture for available-light photography and selective-focus images. Its advanced optical design delivers high-contrast, high-resolution detail across the entire frame, even at maximum aperture and down to the minimum focusing distance.

This current generation focuses down to 0.45 m via a specially developed double-cam gear and uses an eleven-blade diaphragm for smooth, refined bokeh. The bright silver finish is a classic complement to silver M bodies. Come handle it with our team and see the rendering for yourself.

The Reference Fast Fifty

A natural 50mm perspective (45.4° diagonal angle of view) that corresponds to the human eye, paired with a fast f/1.4 aperture for available-light work and shallow depth of field. It renders high-contrast, high-resolution images across the whole field, even wide open.

Eleven Blades, Refined Bokeh

An eleven-blade diaphragm produces a rounder aperture and smooth, refined bokeh. A floating element, special glass types, and one aspherical surface keep imaging performance high, even down to the minimum focusing distance.

Close Focusing to 0.45 m

A specially developed double-cam gear unit enables close focusing to 0.45 m for extreme close-ups, extending the creative range of this classic standard lens well beyond the traditional rangefinder limit.
