Brand Leica System Leica M Grade New

The Leica Summilux-M 35mm f/1.4 ASPH. in silver anodized finish is the definitive fast 35mm for the M system, combining a classic reportage field of view with a bright f/1.4 aperture for low-light shooting and elegant subject separation. Its current-generation optical design adds a floating element and eleven aperture blades for high-contrast rendering wide open and noticeably rounder, smoother bokeh.

Focusing reaches a close 0.4 m — rangefinder-coupled to 0.7 m, then extended via Live View, Visoflex, or the Leica FOTOS app — and a redesigned focus mechanism nearly doubles the ring travel for precise, confident focusing. The bright silver finish pairs beautifully with silver M bodies. Come see it in person with our team.

Fast, Classic 35mm Rendering

A bright f/1.4 maximum aperture and the versatile 62.5° diagonal angle of view make this the quintessential M reportage lens for street, travel, environmental portraits, and landscapes. It delivers high-contrast, high-resolution drawing wide open, with a smooth transition into the defocused background.

Eleven Blades, Smoother Bokeh

The current design uses an eleven-blade diaphragm for a rounder aperture opening and visibly creamier bokeh. A floating-element design and elements with anomalous partial dispersion keep performance high and color correction clean across the focus range.

Close Focus and Refined Handling

Minimum focusing distance reaches 0.4 m: rangefinder-coupled to 0.7 m, then extended to 0.7–0.4 m via Live View, the Visoflex, or the Leica FOTOS app. A Leica-developed double-cam gear nearly doubles focus-ring rotation to 176° for precise, deliberate focusing.

Silver Finish, Built in Germany

The silver anodized finish (order no. 11727) is a striking match for silver M bodies. At roughly 46 mm long and about 338 g with an integrated, extendable hood, it keeps the compact M character intact. Leica M bayonet with 6-bit encoding; made in Germany.
