A World First at 21mm

This is the world's first APO lens at a 21 mm focal length for full-frame cameras. Apochromatic correction using anomalous-partial-dispersion glass suppresses chromatic aberration, so highlights stay clean and contrast stays high right to the edges of the 91.7-degree field of view.

Fast and Ultra-Wide

A bright f/2 maximum aperture makes this a rare fast ultra-wide, giving you low-light capability and creative depth of field where most 21mm lenses are far slower. The 14-element, 11-group design includes three aspherical surfaces for crisp, distortion-controlled results.

Precise, Quiet Autofocus

A quiet, accurate Dual Synchro Drive autofocus keeps the lens responsive, and a 0.21 m close-focus distance lets you build striking foreground-to-background compositions.

Made in Germany, Sealed for the Field

The aluminum housing is sealed against dust and splash water for confident outdoor use, and an E67 filter thread accepts standard filters. It is precisely manufactured in Germany.
