Brand Leica System Leica SL

The Leica SL3 Reporter takes the full-frame SL3 and armors it for the field: a scratch-resistant matte olive-green paint finish, a woven aramid-fiber trim that improves grip and develops a unique patina, and an understated design that omits the red Leica logo for discreet reportage work. Underneath, it's a complete SL3 — a 60MP triple-resolution BSI CMOS sensor, 5-axis in-body stabilization, and hybrid phase-detect autofocus.

It shoots up to 8K video with ProRes, pairs a 5.76M-dot EVF with a tilting touchscreen, and takes both CFexpress Type B and SD cards. Built from magnesium and aluminum with IP54 protection, it's a rugged, professional tool. Let our team help you build the right L-Mount system around it.

Buy from an authorized Leica dealer like Leica Store SF to ensure a genuine product with full manufacturer warranty and expert support.

All shipments are fully insured; orders over $150 require a signature. FedEx Express 2-Day and Overnight within the US. Returns accepted within 14 days and are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Armored for the Field

The Reporter edition wears a scratch-resistant matte olive-green paint finish and a trim woven from resistant aramid fiber that improves grip and stability while developing a unique patina over time. The red Leica logo is intentionally omitted for discreet, low-profile shooting.

60MP Triple Resolution Sensor

A 60.3MP full-frame BSI CMOS sensor with Triple Resolution Technology captures at 60, 36, or 18 megapixels, backed by the Maestro IV processor and 5-axis in-body image stabilization for sharper stills and steadier video.

Hybrid AF and 8K Video

A hybrid autofocus system combines phase detection, contrast, and depth mapping across 315 areas with person and animal detection. Video reaches up to 8K (C8K 8192 x 4320) with h.265, h.264, and ProRes, plus L-Log and HLG for professional grading.

Pro Body, Pro Connectivity

A 5.76M-dot EVF, a 3.2" tilting touchscreen, and a 1.28" top status display anchor the interface. Dual card slots (CFexpress Type B + SD UHS-II), USB-C, HDMI 2.1, timecode, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.0 round out a magnesium/aluminum body with IP54 protection. Made in Germany.
