Sharp, Modern Optics

A 19-element, 15-group design with six aspherical surfaces (three elements aspherical on both sides) delivers excellent sharpness at every aperture and focus distance, with creamy bokeh and the signature Leica look.

In-Body Stabilization Partner

The lens forgoes an optical stabilizer to stay compact and light, relying on the in-body image stabilization of SL2 and SL2-S bodies. Fast internal focusing moves a single lightweight element for quick, quiet autofocus.

Close Focus and Weather Sealing

A 0.18 m closest focusing distance at 24 mm lets you work tight, and the weather-sealed all-metal housing with an E82 filter thread stands up to demanding conditions.
